Ongoing Process: Public California: Postsecondary—Adult Education—ROCP
 
With the assistance of representatives from the adult and regional occupational centers, a specialized adaptation of the Focus on Learning protocol has been developed, WASC Postsecondary, Adult Education, ROCP Focus on Learning.
 
 
  Initial Visit

As noted on our Getting Started page all Public California Postsecondary Adult Education ROCP schools follow the initial visit procedures, utilizing the WASC Initial Visit Procedures Manual.

 
  Full Self-Study

The full visit instructions for California public schools are outlined in the respective protocols for these schools.

As of September 1, 2005, the Southern WASC office located in Temecula, California is handling all Postsecondary, Adult Education, ROCP accreditation matters.

With the exception of the completed Visiting Committee Reports which should continue to be sent to the Northern WASC Office located in Burlingame, California, all forms and accreditation questions should be directed to the Southern WASC Office:

    Note: This document is formatted to be printed as a double-sided document. It can also be printed single-sided; however, please be aware that there will be a number of unnecessary blank pages in the single-sided output.

  • WASC Tools: Criteria Indicators and Prompts: Word Doc File
    This document is a useful tool to assist the school in the analysis of their program based on the WASC criteria. The attached Word file contains indicators, suggested areas to analyze, and prompts for each criterion. The prompts correlate with the indicators and space is provided for each prompt to fill in your school's findings and provide evidence for each criterion. These responses will form the basis of Chapter IV of the Self-Study Report.

All California public schools follow the same procedures, dependent upon the term of accreditation that they have received. Appropriate directions can be found in the following documents.
